Validate store stock on the kiosk

Stock validation confirms the displayed store quantity. It is not the same as adding stock, deducting stock or correcting a physical-count discrepancy. Only validate quantities you have checked.

1)

Sign in to the correct employee session and open Inventory.

2)

Find the product and open it. Check its name, unit and store quantity carefully so you do not validate a similarly named item.

3)

Compare the physical stock with the quantity displayed. Check whether the item uses individual units or another configured unit.

4)

If the quantity is correct and the action is available, select Validate.

5)

Review the action showing Validate … in Stock, then submit. Wait for success and check the validation information or inventory history.

6)

If the count does not match, stop and report the discrepancy to the responsible manager. Validation should not be used to hide a mismatch or replace a stock adjustment.

Validation versus a stock movement

Use the deduction workflow only for an actual stock deduction, not simply to mark that you checked an item. If you cannot see Validate, check the item and your access with your manager.
