Record Cash In in the mobile app

Cash In records the opening cash count for a day. Check the workspace, date and till before counting. The actions available depend on your access; Admin View can review permitted previous dates.

1)

Open Cash Management, check the date, then choose Add Cash In. If a Cash In already exists for that date, open it rather than creating another.

2)

Count the notes and coins and enter each denomination’s quantity. For coins, use R for rolls and the separate quantity for loose coins. Do not count the same coins in both inputs.

3)

Compare the running total with the expected opening float. Review any previous-night Cash Up information available, including highlighted denomination differences.

4)

Add the required photo attachment and any useful notes. Open the image to check that the count or supporting record is readable.

5)

Review the amount and any variance warning, then save and confirm. Wait for success and reopen the saved Cash In to check its denominations, total and attachment.

If saving is blocked

Check the photo requirement, any incomplete fields and whether a Cash In already exists for that day. A previous-night mismatch should be investigated; do not alter the physical count merely to remove the warning. Saving Cash In records the count but does not move money or make a bank deposit.
