Add a customer or supplier company to CRM

Add customers and suppliers to CRM so your team can find their details and use them on sales or purchase orders. A CRM company is a business you trade with; it is not a new Dashify workspace.

Before you start: sign in to the correct workspace with access to create CRM companies. Search for the business first to avoid duplicate records.

1)

Open CRM > Companies and search for the business name. If there is already a matching record, open it and check its details rather than creating another.

2)

Select Add Company. Enter the company details and choose the appropriate company type: Customer for a business you sell to or Supplier for a business you buy from.

3)

Use Next to work through the available sections. Add the business address and contact information you have, and review any order-account settings before using the company for trading.

4)

Select Finalise, review the information, then select Submit. Wait for the saved company record to open or for the success confirmation.

5)

Open the saved company and check its details. Use its Contacts section to link the people who work at that business. You can maintain addresses and other available sections from the company record.

If the company is missing from an order

Check the workspace, company type, active status and your permissions. Supplier purchase orders use supplier records; sales use customer records. Adding a CRM company does not invite an employee or grant anyone Dashify access.
